Abstract : Hardware Trojans have the ability to steal user passwords and other vital information. The Data Encryption Standard (DES) encoding and decoding modulation method of time division multiplexing is dealt in this work. The sequential Randomized Encoding of Combinational Logic (RECORD) system is less secure than the Time Division multiplexing (TDM) version of the proposed system. This work concentrates on the combination of TDM with DES and its hardware realization. The proposed system is used to protect the circuits from any malicious third-party when the Trojans are aware of entire data. This method has been simulated in Verilog and synthesized using Xilinx ISE. The results highlight 37% reduction in power and 12% improvement in delay. Significant reduction in area is also obtained.
