Abstract : A study was conducted during Jan-April 2019 in Mysuru district. The purpose of the study was to obtain a comprehensive knowledge of the SHG’s in Mysuru District, with special importance to socio-economic and psychological character, income level, to the motivational factors, utilization of profit, problems faced by members and the overall benefits gained by the members from SHG’s.
