Abstract : The paper demonstrates the synthesis and characterization of vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) nanofibrils. Confirmation of Vanadium pentoxide nanofibrils synthesized by solution process is carried out by FESEM analysis and XRD peaks. Further, thin films with these nanofibrils are deposited on Indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass plates and its electrochemical properties are analyzed. The studies conducted on these nanofibrils give noteworthy, versatile, and appreciated information to materials chemistry and its thin film is a suitable candidate as a cathode in Lithium-ion batteries.
