Voice-Enabled Smart Automotive Assistant System

Abstract : Modern vehicles often feature isolated systems for navigation, safety, and entertainment, resulting in fragmented user experiences, redundant hardware, and limited cross-function optimization. This research presents an integrated vehicle system uniting voice-based navigation, multi-level lane departure warnings, and voice-controlled music playback. Built on a shared Raspberry Pi 4 architecture with a centralized controller and unified voice interface, the system supports contextual awareness across components. In tests spanning 500 km with 12 drivers, it achieved 94.3% navigation accuracy, 97.8% lane detection with 96.4% correction, and 86.1% music control accuracy. Integration reduced CPU use by 23%, memory by 18%, and driver cognitive load by 43%. Contextual adaptation-like dynamic lane sensi-tivity-enhanced overall performance. These findings highlight the value of unified, context-aware vehicle systems that improve safety, efficiency, and user experience.
