FLAGSHIP INITIATIVES

Seaweed cultivation (TN & Kerala) — 200+ women trained, 21+ tonnes harvested, 110+ in value addition with Rs.1,00,000+ profits, 30 NSDC-certified, AI Seaweed Monitor. Lemongrass oil distillation (Wayanad) — solar thermal unit co-designed with tribal SHGs. Water-hyacinth valorisation (Kuttanad). Areca-nut plate making (Byse, Karnataka).

Moonj grass craft (Sarai Nooruddinpur, UP); mushroom cultivation — 1,015 participants across 20 villages, IoT-enabled in Guptapada, Rs.15,000–20,000 monthly income; fabric painting & textile printing — 1,905 participants across 16 villages; beekeeping — 3,504 participants across 27 villages.

Operational since 2004 (post-Tsunami) — 250,000+ women, 13,500+ SHGs. Revitalised under CCRRC with vocational training, start-up capital, microcredit and marketing. Conventional SHGs digitised into Smart-SHGs — mobile savings, UPI, online markets. 13,091 in capacity building; 7,190 in business development.

Training of Trainers — local members as village trainers; PMKVY certifications (tailoring, beautician, food processing, carpentry, two-wheeler repair); PM Vishwakarma artisan enrolment with tool kits & bank linkage; KCC, PM Kisan, PMFBY, Ayushman Bharat facilitation; e-commerce & buyer-seller meets.
