On 11th August 2016, Dr. S. Usha, Assistant Professor, School of Social Sciences and Languages, VIT University, Vellore, conducted a seminar on ‘Intellectual Property Rights in Today’s Digital Economy’, at the Dept. of Management and Commerce for students of B. Com, BBM & M.Com.
The newly-constructed Audio Visual Studio ‘Amritanjali’ was inaugurated by Mr. T. S. Nagabharana, National Award Winner, Producer, Director and Mr. H. R. Ranganath, leading journalist, Chairman and Managing Director, Public TV, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, on April 25, 2016.
On 9th April, 2016, a workshop on Advanced Network Implementation-CISCO was conducted by Mr. Vinod N. V., Member of Technical Staff, Juniper Networks Pvt. Ltd. The interactive sessions included Computer Network Fundamentals, TCP/IP and OSI Layers, IP Addressing, Static Routing and Dynamic Routing.
A two day national workshop on ‘Photography & Videography’ titled “Cam’era 2016” was conducted at the School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, from April 5-6, 2016, by the department of Visual Communication, for students of colleges in the Mysuru city.
A one-day workshop on Raspberry Pi was conducted on 7th April 2016, by Mr. Sajith Warrier, Research Associate at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus.
The department of Visual Communication of School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus, organized a one- day national level short film festival and competition ‘Cinerama 2016’ for UG students of the campus on February 27, 2016.

A two-day workshop on Network Security Vulnerability, Assessment and Penetration Testing was held on January 4-5, 2016.
