Venkitachalam, Second-year Postgraduate Resident in Public Health Dentistry, Amrita School of Dentistry, was awarded Best Scientific Paper Award at the 3rd National Conference of the Forum of Ethics Review Committees in India (FERCI) held at Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Postgraduate Medical Sciences, Lucknow from December 10-11, 2015.

The first Amrita Craniofacial Surgery Symposium was held at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences from June 19 – 21, 2015. Jointly organized by the departments of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Neurosurgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Amrita, the symposium focused on the comprehensive management of craniofacial deformities.
