Amrita Students Win at Reboot Kerala Hackathon2020

The teams 'Think' and 'f@lc0n', consisting of a six-member each from the semester four B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering B Batch and D batch of the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, emerged as the second runner up in the Reboot Kerala Hackathon 2020.

ELGi Equipment, Coimbatore, celebrated 2nd edition of the “State of the Future Art” themed Technology Day at the Le Meridien, Coimbatore on December 15, 2019. The event saw participation from 200+ employees, the academia, and students from over 20 engineering colleges across India and industry thought leaders. Students were invited to author papers on “Energy efficiency and creating a greener environment”.

Dr. Swathy V., second-year PG Scholar, Department of Swasthavritta, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, participated in the paper presentation competition at Sadhana 3 - National Seminar on Clinical Aspects 2020, held at Nangelil Ayurveda College, Kothamangalam from February 6 to 8, 2020.

Dr. Rahul V. J., first-year PG Scholar, Department of Samhita and Siddhanta, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, won the first prize in the scientific paper presentation (Oral) in the preliminary round at Saadhanaa 3 - National Seminar on Clinical Aspects 2020, conducted by Nangelil Ayurveda Medical College, Kothamangalam, Kerala, from February 6 to 8, 2020. 

Amrita Team bi0s Member Discovers Security Bug in QEMU

Vishnu Dev T. J., a third-year security enthusiast, from team bi0s, the academic ethical hacking team of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, discovered a security bug in QEMU which can be triggered by sending specially crafted network packet and can lead to fatal full system compromise.
