Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham App to train over 50 crore Indians under PM’s Skill India Campaign

Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has adopted the distance learning platform, A-VIEW (Amrita Virtual Interactive E-Learning World) developed by Amrita e-Learning Research Lab (AERL), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, in its ambitious skill training program for over 50 crore Indians, after it was demonstrated in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on World Youth Skills Day. A-VIEW was developed by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in partnership with IIT-Bombay and NMEICT, Ministry of HRD.

Mumbai University to Connect its 650 Colleges via Amrita's E-learning Platform, A-View

The University of Mumbai is connected all of its 650 colleges through virtual classrooms, to conduct lectures, meetings, trainings and viva voce tests through an e-learning platform, A-View developed by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Amritapuri, it can be downloaded free of cost by a college once the network is established. Each college will be entitled to 20 network connections with a speed of 512Kbps. The university has a 1Gbps connection.

Amrita's A-View to Connect Universities and Colleges

Amrita Virtual Interactive E-Learning World (A-View), the e-learning platform, developed by Amrita e-learning Research Lab, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri connects all universities and colleges of the country free of cost. The platform will be used for education dissemination, particularly in the distance education mode.
