Mata Amritanandamayi Math Plant 1 Lakh Seed Balls in Forests of Delhi

Concerned over shrinking green cover and increasing air pollution in Delhi, more than 200 followers of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi planted one lakh seed balls in forest areas of Delhi. People from different backgrounds and age groups, from school students to elders, came together from the cities of Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad. The volunteers included youth from the Delhi-NCR chapter of AYUDH (the youth wing of Mata Amritanandamayi Math).

Guru Purnima Celebrated at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri

The Guru Purnima celebrations at Amritapuri Ashram started with Gurupaduka Puja followed by Archana, Bhajans, Arati and Prasad Distribution. Swami Turiyamritnanda Puri led the celebrations and a short discourse after the Puja. Thousands of devotees and inmates of Amritapuri Ashram and students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, participated in the event.

Bush, officially welcomed Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi to Washington, D.C. on July 1, 2019.  “Doro” and her sister-in-law, Patricia Reilly Koch, garlanded Amma, received her blessings and offered a few words.
