Bio

Dr. Devi M currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit at the Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri. She holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad (2017). Following her undergraduate studies, she underwent hands-on clinical training at Dharma Ayurveda Siddha Clinic, Adyar, Chennai, under the guidance of Dr. Dharmalingam, Chairman, Dharma Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, and Director, Dharma Group of Institutions, Sriperumbudur, Chennai.

Dr. Devi pursued her Postgraduate degree in Samhita, Sanskrit, and Siddhanta at the Amrita School of Ayurveda from 2019 to 2022, securing First Rank. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has actively participated in numerous national and international seminars and has presented research papers on diverse scholarly themes.

She is actively involved in community engagement through health awareness programs and plays a key role in organizing national-level seminars and academic events. She joined the faculty of the Amrita School of Ayurveda in January 2024.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr. Devi M serves as the Co-Principal Investigator of the Amrita IKS Centre of Excellence for Ayurveda Vyākaraṇa and Darśana, a project funded by the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Division, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
