Bio

Dr. Lekshmy M L currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit at Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri. She had completed her BAMS (Bachelore of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree from Govt Ayurveda College, Thiruvanathapuram during the year 2005-2011. After that she was serving as a medical officer in Dhathri Ayurveda Hospital and Panchakarma Centre and various other institutions. She had completed her Post Graduate degree in Samhita Sanskrit and Siddhanta from Amrita School of Ayurveda from 2018 to 2021. In between She had completed MA in Psychology from School of Social Sciences , IGNOU during the year 2016.

Dr. Lekshmy was working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit at Prasanna College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Laila, Belthangady, Mangalore from 7th March 2022. Throughout her academic and professional journey she has actively participated and presented papers in numerous national and intrernational seminars. She joined as a faculty of Amrita School of Ayurveda on December 2024.

  • Attended Research Metholody Workshop 2024-25, conucted by Rajiv Gandi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (19th March 2024)
  • Presented “Concept of Janapadodwamsa in the View of Charakacharya” as part of the Ayush Samriddhi International Webinar Series, organized by the Independent Research Ethics Society, on 6th November 2023. Another presentation titled “Role of Ayurveda in Improving Gut Transit Time” was delivered during the National Webinar on Ayurveda Kudumbakam, organized by Jupiter Ayurveda Medical College and Tarini Ayurveda Hospital under MUHS, conducted from 6th to 7th July 2024.
