Abstract : Most of the natural resources are at the verge of wane due to the lack of our care. Water, one of the prime element for the existence of life needs our immediate attention. Recent studies in India reveals that 50% of fresh water wasted due to the improper water management system. In this work, we aim to provide a practically efficient water management solution for large agricultural fields and domestic sectors. It offers an IoT based technical solution to manage water, which integrates different sensors, cloud storage, etc. Apart from the decision-making techniques like automatic electric power cut, it generates alert messages for relevant users in their smartphones in time for excess water usage. Hence, it helps us to monitor the water level in both the water tank and soil remotely. The reliable diagnosis capabilities of the system and its timely alerting mechanism makes this an intelligent approach. Moreover, the proposed work aims to reduce the burden of the user in monitoring the water level and makes it a user-friendly system.
