Graduation Ceremony Held at Amrita Health Sciences Campus, Kochi

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Health Sciences Campus in Kochi recently hosted its graduation ceremony. Over two days, a total of 416 students from Amrita College of Nursing, Amrita School of Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine, Amrita School of Pharmacy, and the School of Business received their degrees. 34 rank holders across various courses were also awarded medals and prizes for outstanding performance.

The event featured a benedictory address by Swami Purnamritanandapuri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math. The College of Nursing graduation ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. Sona P.S., Registrar, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, while Dr. K.S. Radhakrishnan, former Vice-Chancellor of Kalady Sree Sankaracharya Sanskrit University, was the chief guest.

The graduation ceremonies of the Amrita School of Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine, Amrita School of Pharmacy, and School of Business were graced by Dr. A. Ajayaghosh, Chair Professor, S.R.M. Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, and Ganesh Shankararaman, Vice President of Sify Technologies Ltd. and CFO of Sify Infinite Spaces Ltd.

Other dignitaries who addressed the gatherings included Dr. P. Ajith Kumar, Registrar, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham; Dr. Shantikumar V. Nair, Associate Provost; Dr. U. Krishnakumar (Dean, Arts, Humanities & Commerce, Kochi), Campus Director; Dr. K. T. Molly, Principal, Amrita College of Nursing; Dr. Rajiv Prasad, Principal, School of Business; and Dr. Sabitha M, Principal, Amrita School of Pharmacy.

Additionally, three PhD scholars who completed research in various fields were also awarded their degrees during the ceremony.
