Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus Wins First Prize for Environmental Stewardship

As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Kerala State Pollution Control Board, the international environmental conclave “AURA 2K25 – 50 Years of Environmental Stewardship” was held on September 26–27 at Adlux International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Ernakulam.

On this occasion, awards were presented to institutions across various sectors for their outstanding contributions in the fields of environmental protection and pollution control. The evaluation considered achievements such as water and air pollution control initiatives, energy and water conservation programs, significant contributions towards environmental sustainability, and impactful projects reflecting social responsibility.

In the category of Other Institutions, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, Kollam was awarded First Prize in recognition of its exemplary efforts and achievements in environmental protection and sustainable practices.
