Amrita SeRVe villages across India marked Amma’s birthday with heartfelt devotion, vibrant cultural programs, and meaningful acts of service that united the entire community.
In Sarai Village, Uttar Pradesh, children showcased their talents through beautiful cultural performances, while women filled the day with spiritual fervor, singing bhajans in celebration of Amma. The festivities created a warm and joyous atmosphere, highlighting the spirit of togetherness.
Meanwhile, in a Bihar village, the celebrations took the form of seva. A team of doctors from the Government Hospital inaugurated the event with a prayer for the villagers’ health, followed by a free medical camp offering essential health check-ups for viral fever, sugar levels, and blood pressure.
A total of 99 villagers received treatment, and free medicines were distributed to ensure their well-being. The camp was supported by Dr. Manan Bhakt along with a multidisciplinary team of Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs), Family Planning staff, and ASHA workers, underscoring the commitment to holistic community care.
Through these celebrations, Amrita SeRVe villages not only honored Amma’s teachings but also strengthened bonds within the community through devotion, culture, and compassionate service.
