We are delighted to announce that Dr. Nimita Pandey, Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Policy at the School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (SSBS), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Faridabad Campus, along with her esteemed colleagues, has been awarded the ICSSR – Punyashloka Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Research Grant.
Their research project, titled “Spread and Influence of Hirkani’s Legend on Breastfeeding Working Mothers in Maharashtra,” explores the intersections of public policy, cultural heritage, and maternal health. This innovative study aims to shed light on how traditional narratives like that of Hirkani continue to shape perceptions and practices among working mothers today.
