Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IMT Atlantique, one of France’s leading technological universities and a member of the Grandes Écoles network. The MoU was signed at the IMT Atlantique campus in Nantes by Prof. Christophe Lerouge, President of IMT Atlantique, and Prof. Maneesha V. Ramesh, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
The agreement outlines collaboration in research, joint academic programmes, student and faculty mobility, and co-authored publications. It also includes specific engagement with Amrita’s Live-in-Labs® experiential learning initiative, along with cooperation in areas of mutual technological interest.
IMT Atlantique is ranked among the top 10 institutions in France, and holds the 115th position globally in the “Industry” pillar, placing 8th among the 48 French institutions listed in international rankings.
An Amrita delegation comprising Prof. Maneesha Ramesh, Prof. Manoj (Dean), Prof. Shyam Diwakar, and Dr. Raja Sundar visited the Nantes campus and held discussions with senior faculty members on strengthening research partnerships and expanding avenues for global academic engagement.
