Dr. Tushar Prabhakar is a medical doctor and public health specialist currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Community Medicine at Amrita School of Medicine, Faridabad. He has extensive experience in epidemiology, public health research, and community-based healthcare delivery, with prior appointments at premier institutes including the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi, and Lady Hardinge Medical College.
He has contributed to multiple ICMR-funded national projects, coordinated large-scale public health campaigns, and delivered training in epidemiology, biostatistics, and grant writing to medical and research professionals. With research interests spanning metabolic liver disease, non-communicable diseases, viral hepatitis, and health-seeking behaviour, Dr. Prabhakar has authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented his work internationally and nationally.
He remains actively engaged in teaching, community outreach, and developing evidence-based interventions, while mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate learners in research and field epidemiology.
