Abstract : The hitherto unknown male of Monochamus shembaganurensis Breuning, 1979 is described and illustrated with emphasis on aedeagus and endophallic structures. Additional information on distribution of the species, endemic to the Western Ghats biodiversity hotspot in south India is provided.
