The Department of Fitness and Strength Sports is proud to announce that the Amritapuri Campus Team emerged as the Overall Champions (Junior & Senior) at the Kollam District Powerlifting Bench Press Championship 2025, held recently.
Our students delivered a stellar performance, securing a total of 12 medals, including 7 Gold, 4 Silver, and 1 Bronze. The event was also a proud moment for the campus as Ms. Ajeesha (Department Staff) and Ms. Sadhika P. J. (Int. M.Sc. Chemistry) were honored with the Best Lifter titles in the Senior and Junior categories, respectively.
Seven outstanding students from our team have been selected to represent the Kollam District at the upcoming Kerala State Powerlifting Bench Press Championship, scheduled to take place at V.K. Menon Indoor Stadium, Kozhikode, from 30th November to 1st December 2025.
