The AMMACHI Labs Skill Intelligence Lab conducted a three-day hands-on workshop on Design Thinking for Product Development for school students from January 2 to 4, 2026. The program introduced participants to the fundamentals of design thinking, encouraging them to identify real-life problems and develop creative, user-centred solutions.
Through interactive sessions, students engaged in ideation, sketching, and collaborative team activities before moving on to hands-on 3D product design using Tinkercad. They were also introduced to essential prototyping techniques and observed a live demonstration of the 3D printing process, gaining a clear understanding of how digital concepts are transformed into physical products.
This experiential learning experience helped strengthen students’ creativity, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in working with emerging technologies. The workshop received enthusiastic participation, and parents expressed appreciation for the meaningful engagement and practical skills their children acquired.
