Abstract : In the recent past, vending has been in the development stage and is taking a new face with advancement in technology. A user-friendly vending machine is of much importance. In this paper, the work is set to design a Verilog HDL Mealy FSM for the best way to operate. The machine is programmed to prioritize product dispensing, high-value coin payout, and refund. It takes coins and local bills for wider usability. It has a 4x3 keypad to select from 15 items categorized (1-7: chocolate bars, 8-15: packaged chips). An LED display leads the user by displaying the remaining amount required to insert for the product or insufficiency of funds. This design is presented to focus on improving user experience by having an intuitive interface, categorized selection, more reliable secure transactions with different payment methods, and clear price indication, making it a more important and compelling modern vending machine.
