Brahmastra-2026: Annual Sports Meet of Amrita College of Nursing, Faridabad Concludes with Great Enthusiasm

The Amrita College of Nursing, Faridabad organized its Annual Sports Meet, Brahmastra-2026, to provide students with an opportunity to gather together to celebrate their accomplishments in athletics through athletic excellence, cooperative participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This was a four-day event and created an enthusiastic arena of support amongst the entire student body, and demonstrated the commitment of the college to offering a complete and holistic approach to their student’s development.

The four-day event included a total of 18 events of a single-person or group nature, ranging from track and field competitions to competitive team games and recreational sporting activities. All of the students from each of the four student houses (Agni, Jalam, Prithvi, Vaayu) displayed remarkable energy and discipline while participating in all events. They developed an environment that provided for a strong sense of camaraderie, leadership, coordination, and perseverance over the four days of competition.

Overall, Team Vaayu won the championship with 132 points; Team Prithvi finished second with 96. Individual champions were Mr. Sarang K (Batch 2023-27) for the boys’ division and Ms. Ardra V (Batch 2024-28) for the girls’. Both individuals displayed an extraordinary level of commitment to their sport as well as a fair play.

The valedictory event featured several eminent guests: Swami Nijamritananda Puri, Administrative Director for Amrita Hospital (Faridabad); Mrs. Ningthoujam Nimila Devi, National Kho Kho Player / State Level Champion from Manipur; Dr. Lekha Viswanath (Principal of Amrita College of Nursing); and other heads of departments and faculty members. Each guest spoke about how important athletics are to developing discipline, resilience, teamwork, and character, as well as how important they are in developing the complete healthcare professional.

The physical fitness, fostering unity, and driving holistic development achieved through Brahmastra-2026 of Amrita College of Nursing. Further Amrita created the sense of community among students and provided motivation to students as they continue working towards attaining their academic and professional goals with the same energy and determination. Team Vaayu was crowned champion and individual champions of each category were celebrated. The sports day ended on a high and inspiring note.
