Investment 360: Business Impact & Career Prospects

Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore had the privilege of hosting Mr. Jaidev Poomath from Geojit for a powerful session on “𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟑𝟔𝟎: 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 & 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬.” He walked students through the evolution of India’s capital markets, the importance of equity investing and the habits required to build long-term wealth.

Mr. Jaidev highlighted Geojit’s 38-year legacy as a market pioneer – introducing India’s first mobile and internet-based trading platforms and integrated terminals across NSE and BSE. He explained how equity markets support business growth, employment and inflation-beating wealth creation.

Students gained practical insights into:
