ASCEND 2026 – Amrita Scientific Conference on Evidence-Based Nutrition and Dysphagia Care is a multidisciplinary academic conference organized by the Department of Clinical Nutrition and the Department of Deglutology (Head and Neck Surgery), Amrita Hospital, Kochi, in collaboration with the Indian Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (IAPEN) and Neuro Nutrition IAPEN India Core group Scheduled from 14th to 16th August 2026, the conference aims to bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, academicians, and students to explore the latest advancements in nutrition and dysphagia management.
A pre-conference workshop on 14th August 2026 will offering hands-on learning and practical insights into the connection between food, brain function, behaviour, and mental well-being, followed by the main scientific conference on 15th and 16th August 2026 at Amrita Hospitals, Kochi.

Abstracts are accepted on a wide range of topics in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. The submitter must select the right topic for the abstract on the submission form. Available topics are:
For standardisation, the acceptable length of the abstract is of not more than 250 words.
One table can be included, but the total number of cells (columns + rows) may not exceed 16. Please note that tables may significantly reduce the number of the remaining allowed characters. The abstracts can be sent to nourishtoswallow@gmail.com
Abstracts can be accepted either as a poster or oral communication. Only abstracts of authors, who have confirmed the presentation and are duly registered by the deadline on 31st July 202 6, will be scheduled and included in the Abstract publication.The presenters will receive a dedicated email with detailed instructions to confirm their presentation and register. It is mandatory that the same user account is used for the registration and abstract submission if the presenter wishes to register before receiving notice on acceptance/rejection. If different accounts are used, we cannot ensure the link between the registration and abstract and guarantee the inclusion of the abstract.
