Abstract : Resorbable composite materials gain special attention in hard tissue engineering implants. These materials help control the properties of the implants and also help avoid revision surgery. As the researchers focus on effectively utilising bioresorbable materials in medical engineering, this chapter provides an overview of the mechanical and biological performance of resorbable composite materials in complex tissue engineering.
