Dr. Vinodkumar M. V. is Professor and Head of the Department of Samhita, Sanskrit and Siddhanta at VPSV Ayurveda College, Kottakkal, Kerala. With an MD in Ayurveda and a PhD focused on innovative Ayurvedic pedagogy, he is widely recognized for his contributions to Ayurvedic education, curriculum development, and teacher training.
He serves as Chairperson of the NCISM Syllabus Development and Implementation Committee (Samhita Siddhanta) and is a Core Committee Member of SMASTD-ISM. An accomplished teacher, researcher, and author of several books and research papers, he has mentored undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students while contributing to curriculum reforms, educational technology, and manuscript studies. He has also played an active role in community health initiatives and academic leadership. In recognition of his excellence in teaching, he received the Best Teacher Award from Kerala University of Health Sciences in 2025.
