Bio

Dr. Tintu Vijayan is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Presidency University, Bengaluru, M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, and B.Tech. in Information Technology from the University of Kerala.

Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence for Computational Drug Discovery, with particular emphasis on drug repurposing, drug-target interaction prediction, drug-target binding affinity prediction, drug-disease association prediction, graph neural networks, biomedical knowledge graphs, and explainable artificial intelligence. Her work aims to develop intelligent computational frameworks that accelerate therapeutic discovery through data-driven analysis of complex biomedical relationships. She has published peer-reviewed research articles in Q1 Scopus-indexed journals and reputed international journals and conferences, including Springer and IEEE publications. Her research contributions include graph attention-based learning, graph representation learning, and deep learning approaches for computational drug discovery and biomedical informatics. She is also a co-inventor of multiple Indian patent applications in healthcare and intelligent systems.
