Communities across four villages and three states came together to promote healthy lifestyles and strengthen the movement towards a drug-free India.
Communities Unite for a Drug-Free India
On October 4, 2026, residents of Morasia and Ratanpur in Bihar, Sarai Nooruddinpur in Uttar Pradesh, and Harsani in Rajasthan joined field teams to take a stand for healthier, substance-free lives.
The initiative brought together local residents through community-centred activities aligned with the message of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan. The programme encouraged awareness about substance abuse, physical fitness, and responsible choices.
Through local participation, the initiative translated a national campaign into grassroots action, encouraging families and communities to work together towards healthier futures.
Carrying Forward Amma’s Vision
The initiative carries forward Amma’s appeal for a Nasha Mukt Bharat, inspiring individuals, families, and communities to take collective responsibility for addressing substance abuse and promoting well-being.
Through awareness, physical activity, and community participation, the programme reinforces the importance of healthy choices in building stronger communities and a drug-free future for India.
Healthy choices begin with individuals and grow through communities.
