Bio

Dr. Harini Naidu is a media educator and communication professional with over 14 years of combined experience spanning journalism, editorial leadership, corporate communications, and academia. She holds a Doctorate in Communication from Bangalore University under ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship, with specialization in Health Communication.
Her professional journey includes editorial roles at leading media and financial research organisations — including her role as a Communications Specialist with IBM’s Chief Information Office (India).The Printer’s Mysore Pvt Ltd (publishers of Deccan Herald, Prajavani, Sudha, and Mayura), Societe Generale Private Banking, William O’Neil India, and Infiniti Research, as Equity Research and Market Research Editor, respectively. Academically, she has served as Assistant Professor of Media Studies at Jain University and began her career as a New Media Journalist with the Deccan Herald newspaper.
Dr Naidu is UGC-NET qualified for a lectureship and has actively mentored postgraduate students in Journalism and Mass Communication, as well as in PR and Advertising. She has presented research papers at national and international conferences. Her academic and professional expertise lies in print and digital journalism, business journalism, corporate communication (internal relations), media editing and content quality, journalism practice, and communication strategy. Her interests include health communication, diplomatic and strategic communication, international communication, corporate communication (internal relations) and science communication
