Film Screening of Humans in the Loop Promotes Student Wellbeing and Connection

The film screening of Humans in the Loop, organised by Mano Layam – Centre for Wellbeing, provided students with an engaging space to experience cinema as a medium for reflection, connection and wellbeing. The screening was conducted from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and received a positive response from the participating students.

The screening offered students an opportunity to unwind and engage with the film in a relaxed and informal setting. Students actively participated in the experience, with several bringing snacks and spending time together while watching the film. Their enthusiastic response reflected their interest in similar wellbeing-oriented screenings and sessions in the future.

The activity also reflected students’ sense of responsibility towards maintaining the shared campus space, with participants ensuring that the waste generated during the screening was collected and taken with them.

Overall, the screening was well received and successfully created a relaxed, engaging and student-friendly space for recreation and wellbeing. The positive feedback and interest expressed by students indicate potential for future film screenings and related wellbeing sessions as part of ManoLayam’s campus engagement initiatives
