IDP facilitates earning an International Degree from UArizona while gaining campus experience at Amrita in India as well as at the UArizona campus at Tucson in the US. Students get the best of both worlds: a degree from UArizona, at a cost which is just about 50% of the original cost that a student would pay had he/she pursued the course in the US. After completing the first two years at Amrita, students who wish to continue their education in the US can spend their remaining years at UArizona’s campus taking the outstanding coursework towards their degrees. These students will be enrolled as UArizona students and considered as exchange students for Amrita. While they are at Amrita, students will have full access to all campus facilities, Labs, Workshops along with academic support of our highly accomplished international faculty. This option gives students avenues to directly explore other training programs and internships, with a chance to interact with UArizona students and highly ranked faculty in person.
This pathway will allow students to stay at Amrita to earn their UArizona degree for a fraction of the cost of a US degree. During the progression of their degree, students may also spend one semester at UArizona main campus in Tucson at a reduced cost through the Study Arizona program. Each student will be enrolled as a UArizona student and will be considered as an exchange student with Amrita. While they are at Amrita, students will have full access to all campus facilities, Labs, Workshops along with academic support from our highly accomplished international faculty.
This program will be jointly administered by Amrita and UArizona and will adopt the internationally recognized flip classroom approach. The program will enable students to earn a second degree from UArizona, providing the option to spend up to one year at Arizona’s main campus at Tucson. Students enrolled in this program will earn two degrees, one from Amrita and one from UArizona.
