'English Fiction: Victorian' is a course offered in Third Semester of B. A. (Bachelor of Arts) English Language and Literature program at the School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus.

To introduce the students to the origin and development of English fiction; to study fiction relating it to the socio-cultural aspects of the age; to familiarize them with different strategies of reading fiction.
