'Modern English Drama' is a course offered in Ninth Semester of B. A. (Bachelor of Arts) English Language and Literature program at the School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus.

To introduce modern theatre movements and its socio – cultural impact; to make the students familiar with the themes and techniques of modern drama for better appreciation; to expose them to the problems related to the production of modern plays.
