Amrita Darshanam, International Centre for Spiritual Studies (ICSS) will organize a two-day workshop on Mahabharata named "Dharma Darshanam" from September 10 - 12, 2021.

The Mahābhārata, known as the pañcamaveda, reflects the knowledge of the Vedās, benefitting the entire humanity. An especially pertinent question to comprehend is, “How to approach this grand Itihāsa?”, in order to soak in the nectar of wisdom it offers. Śrī Mātā Amritānandamayī Devī says, “There is a significant difference between the wisdom of one who has travelled to the moon, and of the one who has observed the moon from Earth.”

If Mahābhārata is the moon, then Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa Dwaipāyana Vyāsa is the one who has travelled to it and composed the Itihāsa, while the multitude of various other poets and writers are like ones who have been inspired by the beauty of the moon and penned their retellings and imaginations.

Amrita Darśanaṃ - International Center for Spiritual Studies invites you all to an online two day critical reading workshop on Vyāsa Mahābhārata “Dharma Darśanaṃ”. Dharma forms the bedrock of the Itihāsa Mahābhārata and Darśanaṃ refers to the right view. The workshop is intended to grant an unerring view to understand the subtle tenets of Dharma. Here you will get a chance to discuss, contemplate, understand and reach closer to Vyāsa’s Mahābhārata. The duration of this workshop will be for 12 Hours spread over two days and is scheduled to begin on September 11, 2021. Admissions have begun, limited to only 12 seats.
