The UNESCO Chair in Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment and Master of Social Work Department organized a three day event at the Amritapuri campus, from January 22-24, 2020, in partnership with UNICEF India and the Department of Women and Child Development, Kerala.

The first two days of the UNICEF Workshop was conducted by Dr. Kiaras Gharabaghi, Director, School of Child & Youth Care; Associate Professor, Immigration & Settlement Studies Graduate Program; Project Leader, Rising High Project, Community Transformation Cafe of the Faculty of Community Services, Ryerson University.The concluding event was a thematic consultation “An Organizational Structure Model for Capacity Building for Child Care and Protection Staff.”
