The Amrita Quantum Foundations Bootcamp 2026 is an intensive five-day advanced training program funded by MeitY, aimed at building foundational and practical expertise in quantum computing among undergraduate and postgraduate students and faculty members.
The bootcamp provides a rigorous introduction to the theoretical underpinnings of quantum computation, including quantum gates and circuits alongside core quantum algorithms and their computational advantages. These concepts are complemented by hands-on laboratory sessions using Qiskit, where participants will simulate, and execute quantum circuits.
By combining mathematical rigor, computational practice, and exposure to active research directions, the bootcamp is designed to equip participants with the conceptual clarity and technical skills necessary to pursue advanced coursework, research, or industry roles in the rapidly evolving quantum ecosystem.
