Bio

Dr. S. Sountharrajan currently serves as the Chairperson and  Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai.

He has 16 years of experience in teaching. He was sanctioned an amount of Rs. 20,00,000 from the funding agencies like DST, AICTE, and ICMR. He is currently guiding 3 Ph.D. research scholars as Joint Supervisor, one Full-Time Scholar (Completed), and is a Doctoral Committee Member for 8 Ph.D. research scholars. He has published 36 international journals, including 31 Scopus indexed and 5 SCI. He has been certified by reputed companies in India like IBM and Dell EMC Corporation. He has delivered 28 guest lectures at reputed universities and institutions in India. He has worked on machine learning, Big data, and cloud computing and shows the importance of cloud-deployed applications.
