2 Days Workshop

Embedded Motor Control Workshop

Master Practical Motor Control Systems with Hands-On Motors and Motor Controllers.

About

Embedded motor control is a core skill for robotics, automation, and mechatronics work. This intensive 2-day hands-on program turns theory—PWM, H-bridges, microstepping, closed-loop control—into working physical systems.

Participants will independently wire, program, and debug controller-driven motor setups, moving from foundational DC motor control to advanced stepper and BLDC/hub motor drive systems.

Quick Details:

Duration: 2 Days (8 Hours/Day — Forenoon & Afternoon Sessions)
Controller Platform: ESP32 DevKit
Focus Areas: Hands-on DC Motors, Steppers, BLDC & Hub Motor Systems

LEARNING OUTCOMES

H-Bridge Operation & Motor Driver, understand H-bridge topology and why motor drivers are required to isolate microcontrollers and handle high currents. Master PWM-based motor speed control and how controllers map analog inputs (via ADC, like a potentiometer) to PWM duty cycles for precise direction and speed regulation.
Clean, harmonize, and analyze bibliographic datasets accurately
Wire and program controller, driver, and motor circuits confidently.
Configure and control stepper motors with accurate positioning using step, direction, and microstepping.
Compare driver families (L298N, Cytron, TB6600, BTS7960) and know when to use each for various current/voltage requirements.
Understand BLDC and hub motor operation, 3-phase drive mechanisms, Hall sensors, and ESC control principles.
Build and deliver a working multi-motor integrated capstone project.
