HUTLABS is organizing a hands-on workshop on PCB Design, Fabrication and Assembly using KiCad to provide engineering students with practical skills in electronic hardware development. Participants will learn the complete PCB development process, from circuit design and schematic creation to PCB layout, fabrication, soldering, assembly and functional testing.
Using KiCad, an open-source electronic design automation (EDA) tool, participants will work on a practical PCB project and gain experience in both SMD and through-hole soldering.
Organized by: HUTLABS
Target Participants: All Engineering Students
Duration: 3 Training Days (with a 3–4 week fabrication interval)
Timing: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Mode: Hands-on Practical Training
Dates: To be announced
Workshop Fee: To be announced
Registration: Link to be announced
Certificate: Certificate of Participation upon successful completion

PCB Fabrication Interval: Approximately 3–4 weeks for external PCB manufacturing.
The third-day schedule will be announced after the fabricated PCBs are received.
Participants will learn to:

| Phase | Activities |
| Day 1 | Circuit design and schematic development |
| Day 2 | PCB layout, verification and Gerber generation |
| Fabrication Interval | External PCB manufacturing (approximately 3–4 weeks) |
| Day 3 | PCB assembly, soldering and functional testing |
Software: KiCad EDA
Equipment: Computers/laptops, soldering stations, soldering materials, SMD tweezers, digital multimeters and DC bench power supplies.
Open to all engineering students interested in electronics, embedded systems, robotics, automation and hardware prototyping. Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits is recommended.
Participants who successfully complete the workshop will be eligible for a Certificate of Participation.
For further information and registration updates, follow the official announcements from HUTLABS.
