Dr. Gorthala Guruprasad currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai. He is a dedicated researcher specializing in the interdisciplinary field of nanomaterials science and engineering.

His research integrates both computational and experimental approaches, focusing on nanomaterial synthesis, characterization, and their applications in advanced sensor technologies. He has significant contributions in chemiresistive gas sensors, VOC detection, and environmental monitoring systems.

He has published multiple research articles in reputed SCI/Scopus indexed journals, contributed to book chapters, and holds a patent in the domain of gas sensing materials..
