Bio

Dr. Vineetha Jain K. V is a dedicated academician and accomplished researcher with over 20 years of teaching experience and 1 year of industry experience. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science at the Amrita School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru.

She holds a Ph.D. in Real-Time Computing on FPGA, and her research expertise spans across Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Machine Learning (ML), Radar Simulation, Real-Time Computing on FPGA, and Parallel Computing.

Dr. Vineetha also serves as the Vice Chair of the School of Computing and the School of AI at Amrita’s Bengaluru campus. She has authored and co-authored several papers in reputed international journals and conferences, with publications ranked in the 97th percentile and having impact factors as high as 6.3.

She was awarded the prestigious Vishvesvaraya Ph.D. Fellowship, funded by the Government of India, in recognition of her academic excellence.

In addition to her academic and research commitments, Dr. Vineetha is actively involved in social service and takes pride in her contributions to various administrative responsibilities, where she continues to demonstrate leadership and excellence.
