Bio
He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Applied Mechanics at I.I.T. Madras. He did his B.E. (Civil) from Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering and Technology, and M.Tech. (Structural) from NIT Rourkela. He has research experience from I.I.Sc, Bengaluru, and CSIR-SERC, Chennai.
Broadly, his research is at the intersection of vibration, uncertainty and complexity. Prominent areas of interest are Aeroelasticity, Structural health monitoring, simple climate models, and applied mathematics. He uses both experimental and computational approaches to answer hard scientific questions. Additionally, he is also interested in the history and philosophy of science and strives to embed them in both his teaching and research
