Assistant Professor (Senior Grade), Department of Computer Science, School of Computing, Bengaluru.

Mr. Ullas S. is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 24 years of teaching experience, including 3 years in corporate training. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science at the Amrita School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru. He is also a Research Scholar pursuing a Ph.D. in the area of the Internet of Things (IoT), with a focused application in wastewater treatment.

Mr. Ullas holds the additional responsibility of Legal Main Contact and Instructor for the Cisco Networking Academy at Amrita’s Bengaluru campus. He teaches a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, in addition to Cisco certification programs such as CCNA, CCNP, and Cybersecurity.

His research interests span IoT, sensors, automation, switching, routing, and network security. He has published over 24 papers in reputed international conferences and journals, with few more publications in pipeline.

Mr. Ullas has delivered training and sessions across various states and universities in India, significantly contributing to knowledge dissemination in the field of computer science. He has been honoured with the Instructor Excellence Expert Level Award by Cisco and recently celebrated 20 years of service with the Cisco Networking Academy.

In addition to his professional pursuits, he has a strong interest in travel and social service.
