Bio

Dr. Sandhya V. has done her Under-graduation and Post-graduation in English Language and Literature from the University of Calicut, Kerala. She holds a Ph.D. in English Language & Literature from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The title of her Ph.D. thesis is “Sketching Contested Terrains: Gender in the Works of Kamala Das”. She has 10 years of teaching experience (6 years outside and 4 years at Amrita), both at under-graduate and at post-graduate levels. Her broad area of interest is Indian Literature in English, Gender Studies and Life Narratives.
