V. S. Varunanvelu currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. Prior to joining Amrita, he was working with UNICEF, Government of Tamilnadu as Child protection Consultant and served as programme coordinator cum subject matter expert in developing management information system for Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme of Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
