AIMS Takes Part in the Mission Clean Kochi Project of Kochi Corporation

Nearly 2500 volunteers from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi including students, staff, doctors and brahmacharis and brahmacharinis joined the Amalabharatham Campaign- Mission Clean Cochin on November 13, 2014 from 7 AM to 10 AM.

Together, they cleaned the National Highway 47 stretch from Edapally to Vyttila. The cleanup drive was formally inaugurated by Swami Amritakripanandapuri of Mata Amritanandamayi Math. Honorable Mayor of Kochi, Sri. Tony Chammany presided over the function.  Others who participated in the cleanup drive included MLAs Benny Behnan and Hibi Eden; Dr. Prathapan Nair, Principal, Amrita School of Medicine; Br. Dr. Jaggu; Br. Anaghamrita Chaitanya; and Corporation Counselors, M.P. Mahesh Kumar, V.N. Sarojini and Rema Gopakumar.
