Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences Wins Awards SILEX ’16

Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences, Kochi, won awards in the scientific competitions of the 4th National Conference and 17th Annual conference (SILEX’16) held at Thrissur, Kerala, during December 2-3, 2016.

Thirty-five undergraduate students of Medical Laboratory Technology, Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences attended the conference and participated in various scientific competitions. More than 2000 students attended the conference from 35 colleges all over India. 

Amrita students bagged the following prizes:

  1. Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences, Amrita School of Medicine received the “Overall Performance Award.”
  2. Ms. Suramya Babu from 4th year B.Sc MLT and Ms. Aswathy Anilkumar from 3rd year B.Sc MLT, won first prize in poster competition.
  3. Ms. Karthika R. from 4th year B.Sc MLT won second prize in seminar presentation.
  4. Ms. Reshma K.P. and Ms. Suvarna Babu from 4th year B.Sc MLT won second prize in quiz competition.
