Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus spoke on the topic, “Embedding Industry-Academia Connect in Curriculum” for a 7 – day Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Impact of Industry 4.0 in 21st Century Higher Education” organized by Kongunadu Arts & Science College, Coimbatore on March 7, 2023. 100+ faculty attended this online FDP, which was presided by Dr. Madhan Shankar, Dean of Kongunadu college.
In his presentation, Dr. Prashant R. Nair showcased several best practices of Amrita in industry-academia connect such as industry electives, life skill program with credits, and centers of excellence & research sponsored by industry.
